A NEW CANAL TREATY Has Been Negotiated for Submission to the Congresses of Panama and Inlted Mates. A republic forty miles in width Is a narrow proposition, but when that forty miies Includes the shortest possible canal distance between two oceans the dignity of the narrow republic la immensely heightened. Today the world regards the little Republic of Panama with an Interest and attention nut accorded any other spot on the earth. The bloodless Insurrection, the prompt establishment of a government, the negotiation of a convention with the 1' nl ted Btttes and the general recognition of the independence of tlie new common wealth have followed each other with marvelous rapidity. A big nation is In terested in the kittenish young thing and stands guard over the baby republic's cradle. No possible harm can come to Panama. B. H. ROBIMOX, PRESIDENT of the Bankers Reserve Life Company will probably collect and disburse through his Nebraska Company larger sums of money within the next ten years than the Presi dent of Panama. The Bankers Reserve Lite will be a $50,000,000 company by that time and Its reserves will be greater than the treasury balances of the Isthmian Republic. The Bankers Reserve Life will not engage In the canal business, hut It will cut through the Isthmus which now divides the east from the west In life Insur ance matters. The BAKKEItS RESERVE LIFE will have a larger volume of business In the west than any single great eastern com petitor, because the west appreciated west ern vigor, western enthusiasm and west ern methods. With 17,000,000 of extra selected risks and a steadily growing In come, the Bankers Rerserve Life can go on prospering whether the lnter-oceanlc canal selects Nicaragua, Panama or Darlen. Inform yourself about this great western Institution. It will pay you to know about Its growth and prosperity. TTTT T!
