had to deal with are enumerated below:
Bob Morrison and his wife, Daisy Morrison,
had a fierce tussle for supremacy, which
lasted until they were both badly disfig
ured. They were fined $10 each and costs.
Arthur Hurd, a colored lad, who attempted
Bunday morning to carry off all the loose
Iron laying around the Omaha foundry at
803 Jackson street, was given fifteen day!
In the county Jail. Mr. Llddell, manager
of the foundry, appeared against Hurd. but
the youth claimed ho "nevah done It 'tall,'
despite the fact that Mr. Llddell unloaded
a sack weighing close to a hundred pounds
from off his back. Lou Clements and
Dnlsy Dean had difficulties which led to a
rough and tumble fight. They got $5 each.
Daisy Dean got her fine for licking
Clements and he waa asseased for not being
man enough to run. Oeorge E. Van Horn ,
drew a fine of $50 and costs fof assault Ipg
Sadie Aleve. Both are colored, and it was
shown at the trial that Van Horn hit the
woman with a colored beer bottle on the '
head, Inflicting a bad scalp wound. Vnr ,
