Circulars received by th coal dealers con-
tain th same Information as that conveyed
in the press dispatches, to the effect that
th pric at the mine for Cherokee coal
which Is used extensively, in this city has
been advanced 25 cent a , ton. It I now
33.10 at the mines, which Is a record-breaking
high price. The lncreas la attributed
to th Increase in the wages of miners.
Twenty-five cents was added Saturday,
effective yesterday, to the price of haid
coal. It is now til per ton.
