Manager Rourke, speaking of the present condition of affairs so far aa Omaha is concerned, expresses himself as greatly dis appointed, but not discouraged. He ia still looking for new men: haa a bunch of tele grams as big as a city directory, all within a week, showing what efforts he la putting forth, and when last seen was at the West ern Union office writing more Rourke had the firm promise of three different man agers that players from their teams would be at Omaha by the time he got home and la at a losa to explain why the men were not on hand. He has had no word from either the men or the manager, and Is trying to find out where he Is at.
