Six years ago C, Sommer came to Omaha from the east with the inten tion of establishing a factory to manufacture strictly high grade pianos, providing he could get the proper recognition from the promoters. After arriving and surveying the situation he found that the assistance promised was only talk. However, he became convinced that this would be a good location for a first-class piano factory and decided to start one. He went Into the business without any assistance whatever and today is turning out a piano which is superior to any piano ever sold in Omaha. Mr. Sommer is an expert in this line and has invented what is known s the Violin Sounding Board. Piano players and vocalists from all parts of the country have tested this piano and they unanimously claim that its tone more nearly resembles the human voice than that of any other piano ever- constructed. There are a number of the C. Sommer pianos now on sale at the fac tory and the public is invited to call and inspect these pianos, both com plete and under construction. The capacity of this concern has been enlarged as the trade demanded ind the present prospects are that It will eventually take the lead as the high grade piano factory. The liberal patronage demonstrates that west ern people fully appreciate a good Instrument. This factory is located at Fourteenth and Douglas streets.
