Denver hit both Coons nnd I'ayno hard to
day and aided by rouged Holding won from
Omaha raslly. The locals nleo did plenty
of amateurish work and compared with
yesterday's game It was a wretched exhi
bition, After the Grizzlies had mado seven
hits off Coons, Including a thrcc-bugger and
a home run, Stewart put l'nyno on tho
slab. Ho did good work nnd kept tho hits
scattered except In the sixth Inning. Frisk
was batted hard, but tho visitors couldn't
placo tho hall safely.
Oenlns opened with a hit and scored on
two outs and Lctchor'fi single- The visit
ors mado two In the third. Genius singled
and Dundon threw Fleming's grounder Into
the bleachers. Oenlns scored, Fleming went
to third and scored while Calhoun was go
ing out at second. Omaha made one more
In the seventh. Oenlns circled the diamond
when Uverett let a thrown ball go through
