The Price Current eayi: There is a mod
erate Increase In the marketing' of hogs.
The total western packing Is 505,000 head,
compared with 480,000 the preceding week
and 125,000 last year. Since March 1 the
total Is 3,065,000, against 4,040,000 u year

by sheep owners to complaint's against them
for trespassing on forest reserves, gaa
an Important opinion regarding the jurisdic
tion of the United States executive authority
over the forest reserves. He held that It
could not be questioned that the United
Stntcs had entiro authority over Its public
lands nnd that tho right enjoyed by grazers
of running their stock on the public domain
