day of Admiral and Mrs. Rewoy's tour waa
upcnt at Low'b Ferry, thirteen miles west of
Knoxvlllo, the birthplace of Admiral Far
ragut, under whom Dewey served In the
civil war. Tho admiral and party, accom
panied by various reception committers and
members of tho Daughters of tho Revolu
tion and many cltlzons, left tho city early
today by boat for tho birthplace nnd ar
rived there at noon. Tho site of the old
Faragut honiC6tead was visited and Ad
miral Dewey formally unveiled tho marble
shaft erected to mark the birthplace of thn
first admiral. Upon It l engraved; "Birth
place of Admiral David Glasgow Farragut.

Mrs. Thomas .Moser, wlfo of a farmer living
three mllen north of Tremont, III., and her
four small children, were found In their
homo today. They were last seen alive on
