moVnlng. Interstate association rules will
govern. There will bo two sets of traps;
Sargent system nnd Whlto Flyer targets will
bo used. Tho arrangement for tho distri
bution of prlzo money Is a distinctive feature
that will add zest to tho entlro tourna
ment. A ptirso of 11.000 will bo added to
the prizes. It la nlso provided that pro
fessional shooters nnd manufacturers' agents,
ns well as those whoso dally nverngo Is 90
per cent or more, will pny 25 cents In addi
tion to regulnr entrance In each of the target
events, excepting the stnto championship
event. Tho fund collected under this rule,
together with a special purso of $100, con
tributed by the management, will be dlvldod
equally bctweon such amateurs as shoot
through all tho open program target events
and whoso averages do not exceed 83 per
cent.
Tho program for the first day Includes
twelve events, ten of which will bo at fif
teen tnrgcts, with an entranco ot $1.G0, and
two at twenty targets, with an entranco of
$2. Identical target contests are on tho
progrnai for Wednesday and Thursday also.
In tho fifteen-target events thero will bo
four moneys, divided on the basis of 35, 30,
20 to 5 por cent. In the twenty-target
events thero will be live moneys: 03, 25, 20,
15 nnd 10 per cent.
Wednesday afternoon the state champion
ship event for the handuoine gold medal will
bo shot nt twenty-flvo targets. There will
bo an entranco fco ot $3 and four moneys.
The tics for tho medal, If thore bo any, will
bo shot off and the tics for moneys will ba
divided. This event Is open to Nebraskii
(.hooters only. Tho gold tncdnl, which Is tho
property of tho association, Is now held by

annual tournament held last year In Lin
coln. Thursday afternoon U10 stato champion
ship llvo bird event will take place. Thero
will be fifteen llvo blrdB, thirty-yard rise,
and tho entranco fee will bo $15. Tho win
ner of this content will bo awnrded tho dia
mond badge, now held by Dan Bray ot Syra
cuse. Tho big day ot tho tournament will bo held
on Friday, when tho O.nana llvo bird hand
icap Is scheduled. It Is for this event that
tho professional uliootorn from abroad will
wait anxiously and their interest Is shared
by tho clover" local shooters. Thero will ba
twenty-flvo pigeons and the entranco feo
will be $15. High guns will wlu not class
shooting. Tho handicapping, from twenty
flvo to thirty-two yards, will bo done by tho
management. Purees will bo divided on tho
basis of ono money for every two entries.

association will bo held nt tho Paxton hotel

without a license, came up before Judga
Gary today. Tho druggist had sold Malt
Nutrlno, a mnlt extrnct propnred by tho
Anheuser-Busch Browing association of St.
Louis, Mo. After listening to tho evidence
of expert chemists, who testified that It
contained only 1-56 1,000 per cent of
alcohol, Judge Gary decided that Malt
Nutrlnn Is not on Intoxicant and dismissed
tho case.
