came near being killed here this morning.
She and her husband were trying to board

In motion . She threw her bundles on the
platform and caught hold of the rail , but
several other persons crowded up 10 get
aboard , and her hold was broken and she fell.
She struck the rail just after the front truck
wheels had passed , and before the rear truck
wheels got to her she rolled over outside
the rail and next to U1o platform. This act
saved her life . When two more coaches had
pa sell R. S. Spencer of Seatto grabbed her
and pulled her out Time spectators were so
horriled lhal they could not attend to get
her out while the cars were passIng.

assert that unless the fight upon them Is
