The attempts to gut prices down , however ,
met with very llttlo success , and that of a
tcmporaty character only , prices rallying at

was a strong market. Special attention was
called to Manhattan , which continued Its
rapid upward movement nnd touched 110. and
though U wus not hold nt that llgure. It estab
lished a gulu of about 12 per cent from Its
price before the rendering of the last decision
in favor of thu company.
