Stocks Fairly active and as a rule strong in the morning and weak in the afternoon , but more than usually regular all day , certain steaks showing a little disposition to follow the decline of the active list. The morning alvanco was the result of a better feeling re garding railroads in the west and the north west and a disposition on the part of the bears who failed to cover last week to close their accounts , After midday the market became dull and heavy , and In many cases prices yielded i@lc before 2 o'clock , but in the lost hour there was increased trading again , fol lowing reports that the western railroads wore again in trouble , the weakness contin uing until shortly before the close , The final sales were accompanied by a slight rally In BOUIO cases , but the quotations this evening are generally J@2c lower than they closed Satuiday , OODPOKB. 8's. , . . . . . . . 102 | < i'i Coupons , 1128 U. 8.4's , 1212 Pacific O'o of " 95 128 STOCKS AND BONDS , Central jmoiho _ . . . . . . . . 29 | Chicago & Alton 137 do do pfd 165 Chicago , Burlington & Quincy 122i Delaware , Lockawana & Western , 101 jj Denver &Blo Grande. .
