which prices steadily advanced ; the quota
tions at the second call showing a rise of \
to 2 | per cent , from the lowest point
Toward the close part of this was lost , but
in the final dealings the market was again
strong and bouyant and closed with the
highest prices of the day generally current.
As compared withp-estcrday's closing prices
those ot this evening show an advance of
j to i per cent , except for Northern Pacific
which HI per cent. Iowcrfor | preferred nnd
4 per cent , for common , and Colorado coal
which is 1J per cent , lower.
