fairly comfortable , not nearly so warm
as in Chicago , and Omaha. Two com
panies of the Second Artillery were
lolling under I ho trees and on the west

py contrast to the scene a week since ,
when it was filled with a surging crowd
anxiously waiting for the latest bulle

for inventors in that line , for several
different methods have been tried un
successfully and every applicant has
