nesday evening. Each one presont was
'given a chance to show her artistic
ability by drawing some animal or

HOT LUNCH.
Tho Domestic Science Department
will provldo lunch for tho students of
tho University after tho hoilaays in
the lower hall of the Mechanics Arts
Building.
Tho lunch will bo served hot be
causo It Is provided mostly for tho
benefit of thoso who aro compelled to
bring their lunch, but it is not re
stricted to any in particular.
There will bo accomodation for
about twenty at a time; the place is
rather small, being in a small alcove
but If tho students aro handled jud
iciously, a great many can bo served
in a short while. Tho minimum
price for which a person will bo ser
ved is five cents; this secures one
article and each additional will cost
five cents extra.
The undertaking has been success
fully carried on In the Omaha High
School and also in the Lincoln High
School; it has been a great benefit to
the studonts.
The variety of food that is to be ser
ved will not bo great but it will be
simple and wholesome.
As tho person at tho head of the
department Is well versed in the art
there is reason to believe that the stu
donts can expect a good lunch.
