Mrettghters And suspicious backpack outside school A suspicious backpack was left at an elementary school Tuesday. The Lincoln Fire Department arrived at Humann Elementary, 6720 Rockwood Lane, and blew it up, Lincoln Police Ofc. Katherine Finnell said Investigators found lighters, mar bles, duct tape and model rocket engines inside the backpack, which H t - was left at about 4 p.m. outside of the school, Finnell said. Man exposes himself to woman leaving work A woman was walking to her car Tuesday night and was followed by a man masturbating. The woman, who works at Creative Clayworks, 4736 Prescott Ave., was walking to her car after work at about 9:15 p.m. when she noticed a man fol lowing her, Lincoln Police Ofc. Katherine Finnell said. The woman turned and saw that the man had his pants and underwear down, his penis exposed and was mas turbating, police said. The man is described as a white male, 20 to 25 years old, about 6 feet tall and skinny. He was wearing a dark knit •v cap, beige baggy pants and an unbut toned shirt with a white T-shirt under neath, Finnell said. Convenience store robbed early Wednesday morning A little after midnight Wednesday, a man walked into a U-Stop holding a rifle and demanded money. The man, described as a white male in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, approached the clerk at 942 S. 27th St. at 12:54 a.m. The man threatened to blow the clerk’s face off if he didn’t give him money, Finnell said. The man left with an undisclosed mount of money. The man was described as wearing an old blue T-shirt. Paper deliverer molested after giving directions A 46-year-old woman was assault ed after delivering newspapers Tuesday. *: The woman was at about 24th and Part streets when a man approached her and asked for directions, Finnell said. ' Afterward, t^f woman walked away, and the man grabbed her hand and molested her, Finnell said! The report did not specify exactly how the woman was molested. Police said the woman got into her car and left. The suspect was described as a white male with light hair in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a stocky build, Finnell said He was wear ing a blue denim cap and an insulated jacket. Fight between women results in hospitalization, arrest A knife and mace fight Wednesday sent a woman to the hospital and anoth er into custody. Justina Wright 22,908 S. 10* St, and Stacey Fantroy, 25,905 G St, got into an argument at Wright’s home, Finnellsid Police, said the argument pro gressed, and F&itroy allegedly stabbed Wright in the arm twice. Wright then sprayed mace at Fantroy, Finnell said Fantroy was arrested for second degree felohy assault, and Wright was taken to BryanLGH Medical Center West Finnefi said.
