UNEs College of Engineering and Technology also made the list of best undergraduate engineering schools with doctorate programs. The school ranked 85th. John Ballard, associate dean of the college, said the rankings are subjec tive and are not used much when recruiting undergraduates. The College of Business Administration made the list of best business programs with the ranking of No. 51. Gordon Karels, associate dean of CBA, said he was pleased UNL made the list. “I think it’s a compliment to our faculty,” Karels said. “We think the College of Business is a well-kept secret, and it’s finally getting the national attention it deserves.” UNL police say student avoided $200 scam Monday A University of Nebraska Lincoln student avoided a scam Monday night at 23rd and J streets, said university police Sgt. Mylo Bushing. The student told police he was approached by a man asking for $200 to retrieve his impounded automo bile, Bushing said. Several university students suc cumbed to a similar scam last fall. Sgt. Bushing warned students to beware of scams on and off campus. Man’s body found Monday; no foul play suspected A body was found Monday after noon by two workers returning from a lunch break, Lincoln police officer Katherine Finnell said. Finnell said the body of the 48 year-old Lincoln man was found on a wooden platform in the yard of the TMCO company at 30th and G streets in Lincoln. An autopsy was performed on the body Tuesday. Finnell said police did not suspect foul play. The identity of the man will be withheld until his family is contacted, Finnell said.
