The group also is performing several swing medleys as well as a few 1940s tunes according to Kahle. ' Although one professional choreographer is hired each year, most dances are collaborations of present and alumni Scarlet and Cream members. Kahle said. Member Anna Baker acts as "choreography captain." With enly two new members this year, Scarlet and Cream is the most "veteran group it has ever been," Kahle said. The group Is directed by Ray Miller, who is assisted by Barb Copenhaver. Other 1984-85 members are: Julie Beranek, Todd Brooks, Gordon Case, Julie Chadwick, Karen Focht, Brent Frahm, Ellen Kollars, Greg McCown, Andrea McWilliams, Jon Ranard, Rob Reeder, Nancy Schoen, Barb Smith, John Soukup, Mark Thornburg, Rod Weber and Barb Wrifjht. The group's performances include conventions, fra ternity parents' nights and private parties. Scarlet and Cream's performance fee is $350, and bookings can be made through the Alumni Association.
