Recreation program. The office
also offers outdoor recreation
programs that include basic
rock climbing trips, canoe trips,
a 100-mile bicycle tour, and sid
ing trips. Sports equipment rang
ing from outdoor items such as
canoes, tents and sleeping bags
to bicycles, golf clubs, basket
balls, voileybalis and nets can be
rented from the office.
The office also employs more
than 250 students per year,
mostly as referees for intramu
ral contests. Stan Campbell is in
his third year as director of the
recreation office.
Scheele became coordinator
of intramurals last October when
Rick Sedgwick resigned.
