For example: Arts and Sciences students have a limit of SO hours of Summer Reading Course and correspondence hours that will apply toward a degree. Architecture students need written approval to register for a Summer Reading Course. Therefore, you need to check with your college's requirements before registering for a Summer Reading Course. Maximum of Two en!y tvo reading courses can be taken in one surrVmer. Any exception will require the written approval of your advisor andor the dean of your college. REGISTRATION ONLY AT THE DIVISION OF CONTINUING STUDIES ' Where: 255 Nebraska Center for Continuing Education When: Opens at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 23 Closes at 5:00 p.m., Friday, May 11 Late Registration: with written permission of the instructor (and payment of a $10.00 late fee) is possible until Wednesday, June 1 3, 1 934. No SRC registrations will be possible after that date. Bookstores will carry the required materials under the summer reading course number so look for a SRC "x" designation. GRADING C2STniCTIO?.3 Grades cf "17" end T: There will be no grades of "W" or "I" given for SRC "x" classes. The course must be completed and graded by October 12, 1984, if you are to get credit for your 1984 Summer Reading Courses. There v;;i be no option to extend this deadline or reinstate your enrollment after this October 12, 1204, deadline. Final date to change to or from PN is July 27. GRADE REPORTING Completion Dates: Required work should be completed by the deadline established by your instructor. Final Fall contact with instructors will occur in September (nature of this contact will vary depending on the course). Must be filed by August 31, 1934, if student does not intend to submit materials to hisher instructor to meet the fall grading deadlines. In Residence Requirement: Courses with an "x" suffix do not qualify as resident credit and therefore SRC hours will not count toward the requirement that "at least 30 of the last 36 hours of credit needed for the degree must be registered for and completed in residence."
