Lewis said he hoped the program will improve the lines of communication between students and administra tors. Dr. Vera Williams, direc tor of the counseling cen ter and ombudsman, said he thought he would bene fit intellectually and emot ionally from the pro gram. Rec center low on list The proposed $1 1.9 mil lion recreation center has a number of projects above it on a priority list at the NU Foundation, said Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Richard Armstrong. The recently announced Lied Perform ing Arts Center is among them. Armstrong said fund ing from the NU Founda tion and other sources is crucial because the new center must be combined with an academic depart ment to qualify for the legislative funding.
