-M l9 edical association iFEPw! backs UHG doctors Control of the University Health Center (UHC) should be in the hands of physicians, in the opinion of the Ncbraskan Medical Assoc., currently meeting at the Hilton Hotel in Omaha. The House of Delegates, composed of about 70 physicians from throughout the state, adopted a resolution Monday requesting that all health services should continue to be "medically oriented and physician directed and controlled" at the UHC. A reorganization plan devised by Chancellor James Zumberge for the UHC was recently endorsed by the Board of Regents. It calls for a division of the present center into the Nebraska Center for Health Education, dealing with services not supported by student fees, and the Student Health Center, composed of health services supported by fees. . The present director of UHC, Dr. Samuel Fuenning, has been tabbed by the chancellor to head the Nebraska Center and to leave UHC. Some physicians at the center have contended that the division is a move to release Fuenning from his health center duties. iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit; 1 COLLEGE CREDIT 1 JJ m E ' AT HOME . i DURING THE SUMMER I Z E INDEPENDENT STUDY E BY COHRESFOHDEUCE E E Register Anytisi i E Study at Your Leisure E E No Classes to Attend E E Make the Summer a Productive Tims ' - .
