His sixteen rebounds were good enough to tie him for the highest individual total in one game in the Big Eight this season, and put him in first place in total rebounds for the season. Near the top in the rebound ing rankings all season, Flam ank, part of the best rebound ing duo in the league, has been overshadowed to some extent in this department by team mate Xed Monsees. Monsees dropped a notch to fifth when Walter Wesley went on anoth er rampage and moved to fourth. Wesley continues to make the point production race non existent. With 30 or more points in his last four games, he has pushed his average to 23.1281 points. This makes him a sure bet to crack the Big Eight's existing single season scoring and field goal records. With four games left all in Kansas' Allen Field House Wesley needs to average just 20.D to break the scoring rec ord of 363 held by Kansas State's Bob Boozer. He needs but 26 field goals, less than seven a game, to crack the 139 record held by former Kan san Clyde Lovellette. Last week, Wesley popped home 68 points the best two-game effort in the Conference this year including 27 field goals. In the individual accuracy divisions, Wesley is the best from the field " w ith a .556 mark, but this drop from last week virtually took him out of contention for the field-goal accuracy record of over 60 per cent. Jim King, tbe do-ev- erjthing forward from Okla homa State, is still the lead er on the free throw line with 36 of 41 for a .878 average. Oklahoma has again taken the lead in team rebounding to recapture its three - divi sion dominance. The Sooners, out-rebounding Kansas and Kansas State, are now averag ing .523. Colorado is .522. In team offense, Oklahoma is averaging 72.8 and in field uJHAT HAVE tfW Vfe? OOHE TO HELP ADVANCE CIVILIZATION ?
