William Alschwede took second place in the swine contest. The sheep showmanship contest's top honors were awarded to Larry Williams, first and Gerald Huntwork, second. Champion of the beef show manship contest was Roger Stork and reserve champion Francis Lavicky. The beef contest was sub divided into three divisions.
