"The division transferred some 10,000 oil and well drill--ing samples to the basement of Nebraska Hall. On March 1 the University j Press and the University Ex aminations Service and Plan ning and Construction Divi sion will move to the second floor. A portion of the second i floor is also occupied by the Computer Center. J. Lee Rankin, former solic itor general of the United States and a graduate of the University Law School re ceived an honorary degree of Doctor of Laws. A comparison of the space occupied by Nebraska Hall with that of the Administra tion Building was made by Carl Donaldson, business manager, and gives cn idea of the size of the renovated building. There are 6 floors in Nebraska Hall, including the basement. "Each floor of Ne braska Hall is roughly equiv alent to the total area of the Administration Build ing," Donaldson said. The Administration Building in cludes 52,000 square feet, and Nebraska Hall has 320, 000 square feet, roughly 6 times as much space as the Administration Building. The eastern third of the floors will be completed and occupied first. Fifteen smaller 4 r o o m s ' which are located under the University warehouse system will be used for storage by offices or organizations that need them, according to Don aldson. The columns are concealed in the design of the offices and work space on the re modeled part of the lower floors. Dr. Walker said that college teaching opportunities in more than 100 Methodist-related liberal arts colleges in 44 states are listed in his office in Nashville, Tenn., and that the schools are looking for ad-. ministrators as well as teach ers. According to the letter re ceived no restrictions are placed on prospective teachers in the Methodist schools because of religious preference.
