Foreign School Rep Will Interview
ENGINEERING EQUIPMENT-Laboratory equipment,
valued at $3,500, was presented to the University this
week by the Westinghouse Educational Foundation. Re
ceiving the equipment for the electrical engineering de
partment are (from left) Prof. Ferris W. Norris, and
Dean Merk Hobson. Westinghouse representatives were
J. V. Stewart (right) and A. C. Acton (second from
right). The new laboratory equipment can be used to
teach student engineers the basic principles of convert
ing mechanical energy to electrical energy and vice
versa.
