BILL JENNINGS begins his third year as head football
coach at Nebraska. Jennings served as an assistant coach
here under Pete EUjott before becoming head coach. He
was a wingback and end on the Oklahoma teams of 1938-'39-'40.
Bill is the twenty-fourth University of Nebraska head
football coach since the first full-time mentor was hired in
1893.
Klaas Is New NU Swim Coach

graduated from Iowa State
Teachers College in 1953 and
received his Masters Degree

Cedar Falls (la.) Teachers
High School for one year be
fore going to Colorado for his
Masters.

Coliseum pool. Last year, the
Nebraska swimming team
finished fifth in the Big Eight.

In bowling, the rote of $2.45 per hour per lane, regardless of
the number of players, has been determined with the knowledge
that the Brunswick-Automatic Pinspotter will set 8 lines per hour
without any undue haste.
Your time charge will start when you check out o bowling sheet
at the control desk. We would recommend that you put on your
shoes and select a ball prior to checking out lane. Should there
bo any break down of the machine en your !...-, your card will
bo punched out at the time of stoppage and punched in again when
tho machine goes back into oction. This will be credited ogainst
your timo charge. In order to report a stoppage of the machine or
trouble on tho lones, report it-to the desk attendant. We will hove
telephones installed on the tele-scores within the next two weeks, end
these will be used to report your trouble to the control desk.
if you desire new rock of pint, there is "New Pin" button
located on the side of the ball stop.
Brunswick Automatic Pinspotters hove been installed in our new
Game Area along with their complete line of equuipment. This will
provide a continuous service throughout the year.
We know that you will enjoy bowling with them because of
the rhythm thot is set for you and with the machine perfected at it
it, we know that your scoring should improve.
In Billiards, the rate of 60c per hour per table has been estab
lished. There is no limit to the number of players to o table. We
hove five Rotation Billiard Tablet, Five Snooker Billiardt Tablet, and
Two Carom or Straight Rail Tobies.
In Table Tennis, the rate is 30c per hour per table. We have
six tables available for your use.
If you desire instructions in any of these areas, please ask
the Desk attendant. Instruction is given to you without extra cost,
however, you will be expected to pay the regular rate for the use of
these games.
