They are: Dr. Loyal Payne, who has been a faculty member at Iowa State College since 1942. A physiologist, he will be a member of the ani mal pathology department, replac ing Dr. Carl Olson, Jr., who is now at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Robert Cole, who will teach business organization and manage ment. He has been assistant pro fessor of marketing at University of Illinois since 1952. Mrs. Janette Sayre, who will be a member of the department of physical education for women. She received her Doctor of Philosophy degree from University of Indiana this year. Other appointments, all with rank, of assistant professors, in clude: Dr. Robert Finley, agricultural economics, was instructor at Uni versity of Illinois. Ronald Taven, horticulture and assistant horticulturist, was teach ing and research assistant at Uni versity of Minnesota. Dr. Keith Aldrich, the Classics, was Charles Atwood Kofoid Fel low in Classics from 1955-57 at the University of California.
