gineers will conduct a regional
convention in Avery lab, today and
Saturday.
Registration is today and there
will be a presentation of student
papers and business meeting at
9:00 a.m. Nov. 10.
Student chapters from Oklaho
ma, Colorado, Kansas and Nebras

Kappa Delta pledges are giving
a Coffee Hour, Saturday from 10
to 11:30 p.m. to which all sorority

Friday Rally
To Feature
'Baylor Bear'
"The Girl Most Likely To Stop
a Baylor Bear" will be chosen at
a special Pep Rally Nov. 16. The
yell squad will issue an invitation
to all organized women's houses
to nominate one contestant for
the competition, according to Don
Beck, Yell King.
A special award will he given
to the winner, who will be se
lected by audience applause. Con
testants may wear bathing suits
or original costumes.
The rally will begin at 6:45 in
front of the Selleck Quad. From
there it will proceed to the Union,
where the contest will begin.
Sadie Hawkins Dance j
A Sadie Hawkins Dance spon
sored by members of the YWCA
will be held Friday from 9 to 11:30
p.m. at five sorority houses.1
The sororities, Alpha Omicron
Pi, Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta,
Pi Beta Phi and S;gma Delta Tau,
wiH take part in the progressive
party.
Tickets are being sold for $1.D0'
per couple in the organized houses, j
girls' dormatory, or at Rosa Bou-

at the University, will take names
of students participating in the
scene. They will be guests of the
playhouse on opening night.
YVVCA Plans Project
A "Filling Station Project" is
being sponsored by the Y.W.C.A.
Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
at the Sinclair Service Station at
14th and Q. This annual fund rais
ing event will also have a bake
sale with the car washing, wind
shield cleaning and gas pumping.
