In whipping the visiting Cy clones, the Buffs, who had opened the season with seven straight setbacks, evened their overall record at eight wins and eight defeats. The league leaders, Beta Sigma Psi, won by forfeit over Pi Kappa Phi. In the Fraternity B division Thea XI sprung a big surprise in defeating the defending cham pions, Alpha Gamma Rho,- 27-18. The losers had been heavy favor ites, having won eight straight games thus far. Other B games went pretty well as expected. Beta Theta Pi edged the Phi Kappa Psi juniors 40-38 and Sigma Alpha Epsilon B knocked off winless Kappa Sigma 22-14 in a low-scoring game. In the two other reported games Presby House whalloped L.S.A. 44-26 while Phi Delta Phi edged Nebraska Co-op 23-19.
