D. C, adopted a res olution urging college fraternities to ciase from their charters any racial or religious bars to member.-; ho. An undergraduate movement which started in New England caused the conference turnabout. The northeastern schools were joined by some of the midwest citi universities and colleges dur ing the three-day meeting there Stern, McCabe Attended. Delegates attending from the University campus were Don Stern, vice president of the cam pus intcrfraternity council, and Darrcll McCabe. treasurer of the council. Both delegates stressed the fact that although the con ference adopted the resolution, thev have no power to enforce it. Winners in the feature and news division can be found on the sliding panel on the second V.oor. Sports photos are in room 109 of the library. First, second, and third place entries are on the right hand side of the panel. Missouri School of Journal and Hiittannica Encyclopedia sponsor the contest each year. Frank Lundy, director of the University libraries is in charge of the dis plays here. TV 1 national fraternities to follow the resolution, stated the two. The undergraduate delegates had no vote at the Intcrfraternity conference, which is composed of alumni of the 59 fraternities be longing to the conference. Offi cial delegates took over the reso lution that the undergraduates drew up at a rump caucus, and presented to the conference floor. Most of the 59 fraternities be- NU Bulletin Board Wednesday. A sr. Dance committee will meet 7 p. m. in Ag. Union lounge. Nl'CWA International studies and information and research committees will meet in Parlor Y at 5 p. m. today. Cosmopolitan Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. in room 316 at the Union. Social activities and re freshments. Non-members wel come. l'halanx to initiate at 7 p. m. tonight at the Armory. All ac tives and pledges asked to be present. Thursday. Nl'CWA mass meeting 7:30 p. m. tonight in Parlor Y of the Union. Alpha Zcta meeting at 7 p.m. the conference is sensitive to crit icism which has arisen when longing to the conference have no restrictive membership laws, but some chapters, after pledging Ne gro members were penalized by their national Greek-letter organizations. in Crops Lab.
