If you're not interested in win ning a cashmere sweater, meeting the new football coach, seeing the winning Coed Follies skits, seeing activities honored or a big dance: you won't want to attend. In case you're wondering what this innovation to campus affairs really, is, it's the Black Masque Ade, sponsored by the Mortar Boards. The Black Masque Ade will be presented in the Union ballroom on March 11 from 3:30 to 5:30 p. m. TICKETS ARE 25 cents, but that isn't all. Each ticket means a chance on a cashmere sweater. The swears will be given in pro portion to the number of tickets. For you gentlemen readers, the Mortar Boards have arranged to present the two winning Coed Follies acts This is the first Time in the history of the University that an act has been lifted from the show. The acts are being given in their entirety and no red blooded American male can af ford to miss them. FOR THE SPORTS-MIXDED, and who Isn't, Bill Glassford has consented to come over to say a few words and meet the students. Activities also play an important part on the Black Masque Ade agenda. In order to recognize senior men and women who have knocked themselves out in acti vities but who didn't become In nocents or Mortar Boards, awards will be given to outstanding sen iors in activities. The list is long but select, so no one will want to miss the presentation. . A TROPHY WILL be given to given to the activity which has given the greatest service to the University this year. The acti vity will be chosen by a board composed of Mortar Boards and faculty advisors. Two honorable mentions will also be given. In case none of the preceding attractions are in your line (but how could they miss) there will be dancing. The Black Masque Ade is not a date affair. Tickets are now on sale from any Mortar Board or Tassel. But hold onto yours tightly, as it is worth a cashmere sweater. And where else can you get a cash mere sweater for 25 cents? Griswold Speak To Young GOP's Dwight Griswold, three-time governor of Nebraska and Greek aid administrator in 1947-48, will address the Lancaster County Young Republican's club at the Cornhusker hotel, March 1. Lambert lo Give Norfolk Farmers' Day Address "Research and Agricultural De velopment" will be the subject of a talk by Dean W. V. Lambert of Ag college at Norfolk Wednesday. The event is the second annual Norfolk Farmers' day for which Dean Lambert is the principal speaker. Theme of the program will be "Quality Means Profits." Chem Club to Hear Prof Discuss Ethylene Imines Dr. Norman H. Cromwell, pro fessor of chemistry, will speak at a meeting of the Nebraska sec tion of the American Chemical so ciety. The meeting will be held Monday at 4:30 p. m. in Avery lab auditorium (Room 14). The topic of Dr. Cromwell's talk will be "The Chemfstry of Ethy lene Imines and Ethylene Immon ium Ions." Omission Omitted from the Friday Rag was the Sigma Delta Tau Coed Follies skit entitled "Weather or Not."- This fantasy combines clouds, wind and sun to make a happy surprise ending. . .. . ..
