breaking class of 531 persons Sat
urday morning.
The 1949 mid-year group com
pares with the previous record of
357 last year, 231 in 1917, and tne
pre-war average of about 150
402 veterans or about 75 percent
of the class were among the 531
to graduate.
Totals of graduates, by colleges
or divisions, were: Junior Divi
sion, 9; Agriculture 76, Arts and
Sciences 83. Business Administra
tion 132, Engineering 98, Law 3,
Pharmacy 23. Teachers 52, Medi
cine (Nursing) 4, and Graduate
