'Racket Smasher' Tells Tricks
Of the Trade to Local ASME
"Smashing the Rackets" a ta'k
by a man who knows whereof he
speaks will highlight the next
meeting of the A.S.M.E. The stu
dent chapter of the American So

Ludwig, a member of the Law Col
lege faculty, recount his experi

rackets which he has helped to
smash.
The talk, which the professor
emphasized is open to all students
and not merely to engineers, will
be held in Richards lab at 8:00
p. m., Wednesday, Nov. 17.
Professor Ludwig came to Law
College this year from New York
District Attorney Frank S. Ho
gan's office where Gov. Thomas E.
Dewey gained his reputation.
The professor's compelling per
sonality plus his unusual subject
should make for quite an evening.
The former cop, caddy, high
school teacher and special counsel
promised this reporter a few chills
and thrills.
At 30 the new-comer to the fac
ulty is the youngest full professor
in the country. He graduated
from the Columbia Law school.
