"What to wear?" is a problem
that looms large to the girl with
scarcely 48 hours until the Home
coming Dance. There are, how
ever, a few bright souls who,
with foresight, have already made
the big decision. Shirley Hahn,
for example, has decided on a
royal blue crepe dress. It is but
toned down the back to the waist
and boasts several unpressed
pleats, also in the back. The front
is unusually dramatic with the
lines of the dress being broken
only by the long pointed collar.
Knitting at its best can produce
marvelous results. And it is at

outfit features a snugly belted
waist and lacey sleeves.
Leading the daisy chain is
Georgia Hilker in a navy blue
crepe dress featuring said flowers.
The bodice is softly draped and
features a "V" neckline.
Jane Bridseman is quite the
smoothie in a suit of fine pin
checked menswear. The grey and
white outfit is highly noteworthy
for its straight lines and expert
tailoring.
The other side of the picture,
the casual look, can never be
overlooked. Especially when peppy
Susie Pecha can be seen in a
brilliant plaid shirt-jacket but
toned in gold.
One would readily conclude
that pink looks well on blondes
when he has seen Nancy Davis
in her short-sleeved angora slip
on. By the same logic, cheers
would be in order for any bru
nette in an aqua cardigan. Wit

Temple building, Friday, Oct. 29,
at 8 p. m. "Screwball" prizes will
be given to the most original
"screwy" character. On the pro
gram of entertainment will be
dancing, apple bobbling, and va
rious pranks.
Denver U to Stage
College Air Meet
The Pioneer Wings of the Uni
versity of Denver are holding an
air meet for college pilots Satur
day, Oct. 30, at Sky Ranch Air
port in Denver, according to word
received yesterday by Paul Kel
ler, president of the University's
Flying Kernels.
Beside flying competition the
meet will include a trip to the
mountains, a banquet and a dance.
Any pilot interested in attending
