Three sister veering dia monds are Kay Schwartz, Fran Smith, and Pat Wentsch. Kay s fi ance goes to Northwestern they will be married in June. Fran is throwing out her books at the end of the semester to work in Broken Bow where her one and only Claire Williams, lives. Pat and her fiance, Dale Bandy, will set up housekeeping in Texas after th---marriage next summer. Special delivery telegram i Miss Jane McArthur' Theta Xi Romeo from Michigan U. sent an urgent request to Jane to be on hand last weekend for two super formals name bands furnishing the music. But Mrs. McA. said "No go," and Jane remains. Sports News. And now, ladies and gentlemen, we present the winner and still champeen, "Jake" Jacobsen. Jake emerged from the Cornshucks of fice Friday afternoon after a rug ged bout, still holding the title and wearing a couple of smoogie marks on his forehead. The champ made a good showing his form was up to par it was a great fight. Dolton's was the scene of a gay social gathering last Thursday morning. The cream of society was there at 10 a. m. to catch their first glimpses of the new day. Seen chatting over coffee were Jody Wolcott and Bill Wenk, Shir ley Eskilson and Bill Moomey, "Stein" Hemmingson and Joan "Gizzards" Gilford. One couple from this merry group, Nancy Lawlor and Bill Vlcek, was un able to get down to Dolton's but had their early morning coffee in the Crib. And the Phi Gams have done it again. This time Jerry Johnston chalks up a score by tracking down Janet Graves getting her to sign her name on a steady con tract. Friday-NUhters. Sports fans Olive Gettman and Bob Good took in the big Northeast-Hastings game Friday night, just for chucks. Quite a few of the campus kiddies were out at King's that night, however. Bruce Berquist, who usually dates Mary Sue Holland, was there with Janie Frye. Mary Sue took in the party with Winton Buckley. Bill Kimball, who shadows Bev Wil liams in his spare time, was danc ing with Sal Holmes. Blond Boy who's been beating a path up to Janet Graves door way until recently, was with Shir ley Lierk. His little party was the first gang out at King's that night, arriving just as the band put away their razors and began playing. Jan Graves was with Jerry, of course, having turned down Dou gie Doyle who called at the last minute to see if she was busy. Bill Vlcek, who recently severed relations with Jody Wolcott, was with Julie Rathbone. That man- shout-town. Chick . Story, who isnallv dates Susie Lancaster, had a date with Susie Lancaster. Bob Jordon, who is pinned to rran Edee, escorted Fran Edee. Also on the spot were Virginia Lapp and Tommy Ludwig, Joy Norman and Handsome Harry r.aiinwav Pattv Wieland and Gene "Bathrobes" Weiler, Ginny Taylor and Bill Wenke. Billy Trombla chatted with Dave Doyle, Jnvcc Steele made the rounds with "Nasty" Hemmingsen, and Tifh Swanson made her entrance with Jerrv JacuDke.
