Phi Gamma Delta, with three finalists, copped the grap pling championship with 103 points. The Omaha All-Stars copped the runner-up honors with 88 points. In the closest and most exciting match of the evening, Fiji Jerry Calhoun won over Beta Bob Lipps. Lipps managed to pin Calhoun in 45 seconds of the second round, but the stocky Calhoun roared back to nail Lipps in 16 seconds of the third round to cop the match. Herb Reese, ex-Omaha Central mat star, edged Bill Skog 4-0 to gain the heavyweight crown. Roy Gustafson of the Stars turned in the only other pin of the evening when he flattened Phi Gam Dave Bize's shoulders after one minute and 20 seconds in the first round. Brown Drops Title. Ken Brown, Phi Gam, gave up his 121-pound title as Lou Canig lia outpointed him 7-4. Sam Kais defeated Ed Craren 6-0 to cop the 155pound weight class. SAM Captures landballCrown The Sigma Alpha Mu handball artists captured the intramural championship Monday afternoon as they dropped the Phi Delta Theta team in three successive matches. Bob Bramson, SAM, defeated Harry Meginnis in a pair of fast matches, by counts of 25-23 and 21-14. Bernie Goldware of the SAM team, won a two out of three decision over Phi Delts' Dick Lee. Goldware copped the first and third matches by 21-10 and 21-6 counts while Lee won the second match by a 21-18 score. Al Lag man dropped Ted Houston 2119 in a single match for the third SAM win. Diminutive Bernie Beiter man sparked the Nubbins with nine points. The frosh crew sported a 19-17 halftime margin over John Thompson's Husker reserves. Gates and Reiling each hit for UN Coeds Score Averoge Tests of motor ability, some what comparable in the motor field to intelligence tests, have been administered to all fresh men girls enrolled in the univer sity. The results show that Ne braska girls on an average are equal to girls from other univer sities in motor skill. The battery of tests included an obstacle race, throw for distance, and broad jump, and involved co ordination, strength, speed, and ability to handle a ball. The average score for all Uni versity of Nebraska girls is 142.
