Local managers of dime stores
report an unprecedented run on
knick-knacks, whachamaca lilts,
thingamajigs, and whodilibobs.
Wild-eyed coeds have been seen
lurking under the counters,
snatching aforementioned things
with ' little thought of personal
safety.
One coed has reputedly imported
from Tucson, Arizona, several 12
foot cacti. (Who's getting stuck
with that!). Another coed, with
close connections, has a prisoner's
hat, ball, and chain from the lo
cal pen.
And still another coed has been
frantically knitting a pair of hip
length argyle snuggics. Little
gnomes dressed in red and white,
along with black spooks have been
haunting people on the local thor
oughfare. (Ellen Smith Hall and
Student Health have reported sev
eral nervous breakdowns.)
Matters are not helped much
by the mad laughter coming from
the fourth floor den of the black
spooks in the Student Union.
And all for what Corsages for
