The first state-wide Paptist

North Platte Baptist Church from
the 24th of October to noon Oc

The Sunday program will be
held at the Baptist Student House,
315 North 15th.' Supper at 5:30
and devotional services at 6:30
with the Rev. Ernest Withan, a
personal secretary of the Baptist
Home Mission Agencies, as the
juiest speaker. The social hour
will follow at 7:30.
EPISCOPAL
There will be the morning pray
er and sermon at 11:00 at the Uni
versity Episcopal Church at 13th
and R street.
LUTIIERAV
Lutheran chapel services will be
1 eld Sunday, 10:45 in room 315 of
the Student Union. The sermon
will be delivered by Rev. II. Erck.
The L.S.A. will hold h discus
sion on the topic "Jesus- Christ
is Lord In Our Camps." The city
campus will be led by Virgil Diss
meyer, program chairman, and
will meet at 5:00 at First Lutheran
Church, 17th and A street. The
Ag group will be led by Don Ir
win and will meet at 6:30 at the
Ag Student Center, 1200 No. 37th.

The L.S.A. Choir is now organ
ed under the direction of Mr.
Charlotte Duerschner. It plans a
series of winter performances.
"Friendly Friday" program at
the Methodist Student House at
7:30, October 17th.

PRESBYTERIAN
Meet at the Presby House at
7:30 Friday evening wearing old
clothes and be prepared for a
hayrack ride, watermelon, and
dancing.
Sunday, Dr. Charles Patterson
will speak to the Forum at 5:30
on the subject, "The Place of the
Bible in Christian Faith." The
discussion, will be followed by
supper and games at 6:15.
UNITARIAN '
The morning service will fea
ture Phil Schag, candidate for
the pulpit.
The college group will meet at
the home of Arthur Duning, 1041
South 36th street at 7:30. Those
wishing transportation should
meet at the church, 12th and H
streets, by 7:15. The topic for
discussion will be "Building a Re
ligious Philosophy." Ted Soren
sen will speak from the Human
istic viewpoint and John Dane
from the Theistic point of view.
