Last weekend the ATO'S cele brated their 5th anniversary with a big reunion of Taus and old grads at the Cornhusker 25 years on the 6th floor and 25 on the 7th. The alums warmed up with a get-to-gether Friday night and then en-massed to the Minnesota game to watch the ATO card section perform. Saturday night was the big night with a dinner dance for wives and sweethearts but we hear the real party didn't begin 'til the dates were kissed good night. Dancing to Frankie Carle at the 'Pike Friday night were Bud Ramer and ring-mate Mary Jo Overton. Andy Andros "good-neighbored" Saturday night by party ing in honor of a Minnesota coed, Millie Johnson. The inside is that Andy will finish his last two (?) years of music as one of "dem Golden Gophers." Bill Vlcek was "coke-tender" for Andy's shindig. Couldn't find a girl enthusiastic enough to party, huh Bill? Mystery of the week how did Kay Worcester get rid of By Hooper and have another coke with Grtg Kallus within three and one-half minutes? Kappas and Sig Alphs had a double-header Monday night, roily Hare and Barb Turk held hands tith Bob Burbans and Sandy Porter for brothers and sis ters. By the way, Kay Ham, how was the hand shaking at the Gamma Phi house? Minnesota-bound this weekend are Bev Williams, Bill Kimball and family. Come around and meet the folks, Bev! Nor'ma Clements has signed up for another year with John Leh man. Towne Clubbers have been having their share of candy, too. Newly engaged are Mildred Quick and Don Schmidt, and Eileen Christweiser and Dick Draper. AOPi's hit the jack-pot Monday with five hand-shakers. Meeting Miss Mary Guthrie of the Home Economics department returned Wednesday from Chicago where she attended a meeting of college teachers of textiles and clothing. Miss Guthrie was elected to the chairmanship of the planning committee for next year's meeting in the business sessions held dur ing the gathering. She is an as sistant professor in the depart ment here. The meeting was attended by representatives of all colleges in the central states region and took place on October 3, 4, and 5.
