Colorado Expects Rough Time
Against Conference Opponents
BOULDER. Colo. Members of
the Big Six conference have ex
tended the hand of welcome to
the University of Colorado but
coaches of the Buffalo athletic
teams know that the other hand
holds a club.
But the mentors, to a man. wel
tome the rugged competition to
be offered by Kansas, Nebraska,
Iowa" State, Oklahoma.' Kansas
State and Missouri in the new
Mid-West circuit and have no re
grets that the habit of dominat
ing the Big Seven conference is
near its end.

circuit since before the torn of
the century and victories for the
Rocky Mountain lads have been
scarce. C. U. football teams have
batted only .250 In winning eight,
losing Zl and tying three.
On the basketball court. Colo
rad has won six against 13 losses
for a .315 figure.
Yeager s record against Big Six
teams since he became head man
here in 1941 consists of a victory
over Iowa State and three losses
to Missouri. "Frosty" Cox, the
basketball mentor, has won four
and lost five against Big Six
squads since he came to Boulder
in 193S.

To Entertain
Spartans Monday
Coach Jerry Adams' Husker
wrestling squad will make its last
start of the season Monday night
against the strong Michigan State
matmen at the coliseum at 8 p. m.
The match will be the last home
appearance for the Scarlet team
which will compete in the Big
Six championships on Friday and
Saturday at Kansas State.
Burl Boring, 175 pounder, and
Gayle Mickle, classy 165 pound

dent Council constitution, includ
ing articles governing spring
elections, were reDorted in full bv

proved by the Council at next
week's meeting, the revisions will

for final vote. Changes affecting
membership of the vital Juriiriai-r
Committee, qualifications fori
council officers, and other revi
sions in addition to election rules,
were included.
Adelphi. social organization for
unaffiliated women, received offi
cial sanction upon Council ap
proval of its constitution.
Remembering that the Union
basement has proved unsatis
factory as the scene of election
polls, the Council discussed
other possible locations, and de
cided upon the Union Ballroom
where sufficient space will be
available for the four voting
classifications.
The Council moved to use funds
from its miscellaneous budget ex
penses to defray registration fees
of Nebraska's delegates to the re-
