After vacationing from these
dusty lines, I struggle back, vali
antly waving a box of Kleenex
and screaming Excelsior!
The campus is seething with ac
tivity this weekend with Harriet
Freeman and Jimmy Weinshell
right in the midst of it and en
joying every minute. Incidentally,
these two have been "almost
steady" since school started.
Correction of Friday's column:
Beta PLEADGES claim all credit
for said Valentine candy. Youse
is good boys. Speaking of Betas,
want to bring to attention their
honeymoon party of last night.
Ann Abel was there with Hal
Burke Jim'Potzman linked with
Jane Mudge while Bob Holland
appeared " with Marge Sauer.
Would like to bring in Dean Neil,
but just can't keep up with him."
Let's Make Up Our Mind.
Bob Barge, once a Jo Acker
man admirer, is now giving time
and attention to Gloria Rabe. Leo
Beck seems to have decided upon
Sally Stuht at least for the pres
ent. Nancy Mines wishes to break
it gently that she is again a free
woman as of Friday night. Quote,
"Jim and I are still good friends,
though, and will date occasion
ally." Unquote the phone number
is 2-5332, fellas ! ! !
At the same house is Janie LU
tle, but with Lee Lovan claim
ing most of her time. Would like
to know where Lee got the Ronson
lighter that is now part of Janie's
possessions.
The Phi Psis grabbed blankets
and other major picnic items and
headed for Seward Saturday night.
Among the happy crowd were
Betty Stanton and Rod Monismith
Sally Graham making her debut
on campus with Johnny Cook last
to mention but not least, Jack
VanDecar and Dottie Thompson
Time on Their Hands.
Spending much time together
are Nancy Finkle and Sam Zim
merman A carry over from
grade school days so they say.
Another interesting combo Phil
Hoke, of bowling fame, and Dale
Hatch. Would like to hear more
of this.
