Take a deep treath exams are
over and men, men men every
where school looks promising
especially for Sal Emerson, who is
starting the semester right with
Dick Hunter, back on campus
again after seeing excitement
with the -Flying Tigers" in
China.
Snow ice Wy "Tierney" Wal
ker falling flat before the DG
house getting much attention
from Gene Woodhead will be
seen together any day in the Crib
and Stan Kenton tonight. Some of
the other couples dusting the floor
will be Georgie Withers and Bob
Bartlett Chris Deines and
Georgie Wood and Phyllis Cran
dell getting the big rush from
Don Forke.
Who's With Who.
Vacation sent Jim Moore home
with Nancy Mines to meet the
family Marilyn Duffeck and Bob
Veeder spent time in somewhat
the same way. Prophesying more
to be heard from these two.
Can't determine whether Mac
Robinson is dating Sue Lancaster
or Beth Montgomery Beth twist
ed away last weekend to date
Fred Metheny, new addition to the
social circle. Careful, Mac. Some
trouble with Mary Esther Duncan,
Jack Dedrick, and Jo Ackerman
though Jack will be dancing
with "Dune" at Stan Kenton.
The Serious Side.
Infinitely happy is Nancy Coe
of the dorm, and with good rea
son. Fiance John Watson is back
again after Nancy's long wait
while he served as a Marine in
the Pacific.
Adele Greene is flaunting the
KappaSig jewel of Dick St-'tt-weiser,
home-town boy, beside
her Gamma Phi pin. Hint candy
passing usually follows this cere
mony, Adele. Mary Beth Davis
also preTers her high school sweet
heart proof is the shining bit of
sentiment on her left hand from
Gus Bauman.
Even more serious Jerry Lou
Stinfig and Earl Godfrey will be
married Sunday while Dawn
Buckles will tie the bond in Sioux
City on Saturday.
Barbie Wentz and Bill Sloan
Jack Cressman with Nell Scott
(understand this is a taken-for-granted-couple)
and Barbara
Turk with Chick Mormon or Bill
Barret (she can't make up her
mind) and "Blackie" Blanchard
dancing with Dean Neill (how
long will this be just buddies and
good dancing ? ? ?)
