Churches Plan Initial Meeting For Week End Initial meeting of university church groups for the fall term are planned for this week end, open to all UN students. The Roger Williams club will hold its first meeting of the sea son at 7 Sunday evening at the First Baptist church to organize the club and plan the program for the season. Before the meeting a lunch will be served, beginning at 6:30, held at the student center, 315 No. 15th St. A fellowship and games period, will follow the meeting. Myrlee Holler is worship leader. Sunday Meeting:. A young people's meeting will be held for university students at 6 p. m. Sunday at the First Chris tlon church. Dr. and Mrs. Don Rice, who will soon leave for India to do missionary work, will be guest speakers. Presbyterian students will be honored with a reception Sunday from 3-5 p. m, at the Presbyterian Student House. All new students and faculty members are invited. Mary Esther Dunkin is in charge. From 5:15 until 9 p. m. a cabinet retreat will be held. The Presbyterian Student house will sponsor a new class for uni versity students, starting Sunday, from 9:30-10:15 a. m. at the Stu dent House. The topic for study will be "Mission and Message of Jesus," and the text book will be the Bible. The Rev. Sam Maier, university Presbyterian pastor, is leader. Ag College Christian Fellow ship will be held at 6:30 p. m. Sunday at the First Evangelical Church. Morning worship at the Church will be at 11. The Lutheran Chapel service, which has been conducted on the campus in previous years, will be resumed this fall. Services will be at 10:45 a. m. each Sunday in Boom 315 at the Union. dancing to the music of Tommy Kong's orchestra, and wind up Sunday afternon with a variety show featuring Ginger Rogers and Ronald olman in "Lucky Part ners." The juke box dance will last from 9 to 11:30 Friday night with admission free -to all university students. On Saturday night the orchestra dance will be held in the Union ball-room, with an ad mission charge of 44 cents. The Sunday afternoon movie will be shown at 3 o'clock in the ballroom followed by the music of Peggy Shelley and her piano in the lounge during the coffee hour.
