In Variety Show
Sunday at Union
"The Hunchback of Notre
Dame," with Charles Laughton
and Maureen O'Hara, is the thrill
packed feature of the variety
show offered at 3 p. m. Sunday in
the Union ballroom.
Charles Laughton plays the role
that Lon Chancy made famous
several years ago in this latest
screen adaptation of Victor Hugo's
novel. Spectacular scenes and set
tings, thousands of players, and
mounting action laid in medieval
Paris make for two hours of ex
citing entertainment.
Dean O. J. Ferffuson of the col
lege of engineering says that of
the 2500 living alumni of the col
lege, approximately 40 percent
now reside within the borders of
the state.
