Thursday, April 2, 1942 DAILY NEBRASKAN fiinL M Qmru (Bak&A. Providing we haven't been the victim of an April Fool joke, the following juicy tid-bits are on the up and up. The weekend promises to be dull in Lincoln while good food and plenty of sleep await the better part of this campus's tired inhabitants. . . Phi Delt Chuck Baskins, who has the reputation of being plenty particular about whom he spends money on, seems to have found the right one since he and Lois Christie, Alpha Phi, have begun to make it a habit. . .Going steady now are Bob Rohwer, DU, and Barbara Richards, Pi Phi fresh man. . .Another new Pi Phi is hav ing some difficulty making up her mind as wicness the fact that Dee Devoe, Phi Gam, is still in posses sion of his pin despite the long standing steady deal between him and Gloria Mardis... Heroes Puzzled. But that is how it goes, to some a pin means a lot and to others it can be simply a tool for the first day of April. We refer of course to the hanging of fraternity fath er's pin by Fritz Bean, Sig Ep, on Dorothy Tilton, Chi O. He claims he'll get it back today, which may relieve the minds of Dorothy's friends who know of another love in her life. . .A number of football heroes are puzzling over who the attraction is at the dorm keeping Vic "Atom" Schleich waiting over there so consistently lately... A sight for blue, brown or pink eyes was that of Jawn Mason, peren nial ATO. in a bright blue sweater riding a bicycle down R street with steady Marie Anderson, Kappa, following along behind ... A per sonal pat on the back is given to new twosome, Virginia Trow' bridge, Dee Gee, and Bill Long, FeeGee, two very swell people we think. .. A triangle has been unearthed at the Phi Delt silo what with Bob Poe and Hobart Brake both dating Helen Johnson, Delta Gamma si' ren. And on the same day too. . , For anyone feeling a slight touch of spring fever we hereby recom mend the Lincoln General hospital HOT LUNCHES 30c $1.00 Wildroot 79c Pro-Phy-Lac-Tic Hair Brush Both For 89c Milk Shakes Thick ud Delicious 10c Palmolive Shayc Cream 2 For 33c BOYDEN'S Stuart Theatre Bldg. Altho the name has been changed, the show is the same, and rehearsals are going on suc cessfully every night this week under the direction of Prof. L. A. Martin. Jo Weaver has been named dance director and she has worked members of the pony chorus so hard that drug stores have re ported an increase in the sale of linament. She says that the chorus is developing some pretty flashy dances. Lahr vs. Weaver. Pat Lahr, union social director, and Jo Weaver, Pi Fhi and pony chorus director of the Kosmet Klub, spent practically all yester day getting even with each other with April Fool jokes.
