What Happened?
This haa a lot of people guess
ing for a long time. What were
Joan Belteer, DG prexy, Pat Cole,
another DG, Bob Flory and Bob
Sinkey, Kappa Sigs, doing in Pa
pillion not too long ago?...Tsh,
tsh, maybe we can help Pat Catlin,
Kappa, and Bert Smith, Phi Psi,
patch things up before the climax
Saturday night. Seems she broke
a date with him to go to the Iowa
game and now she is afraid he is
mad at her, and vice versa. We
hear neither of you is really
mad. . .
Beauty Queen Judge.
Norris Anderson, Phi Gam
pledge, appreciates beauty. He's
dated Barbara True, Trl Delt
pledge, Becky Walt, Theta; Bel
dora Cochran, Pi Phi, and has a
date with Alice McCampbell,
Theta, for the Fiji picnic... The
Sigma Chis will be picking up
their dates in a truck for Heaven
and Hell. The party is open only
to Sigma Chis from 9 until 9:30,
but from them on out everyone is
invited. . .Dates to the Beta party
Theta Barbara York with Innocent
Jack Stewart; Alpha Phi Barbara
Jones with Johnny Edwards; ana
Sweets Campbell, KKU pieage,
with Bud Fuller. . .
Elsewhere.
Going to the Farmers Formal
will be Florence Hamer and In
nocent "Porky" Bacon; Eleanor
Crawford, beauty queen of a cou
ple years ago, and Kenneth Wirth,
AGR. . .Another social event will
be the Gamma Phi houseparty at
which prexy Mary Jean Lauvetz
will appear with one of her army
boy friends on leave, Tommy In
gles... It seems that Bonnie Wen
nersten, dorm Tassel, is having a
hard time deciding to whom she
will sell her tickets to the Corn
Cob-Tassel party. She gets around
so much the boys are all asking
"Who are you going with?"...
This is who some Alpha Chis are
going with to their ranch party:
Ruth Lund with Kurt Knudsen,
Phi Psi; and Wilma Schacht with
Bill Schroeder, Sigma Nu...Well,
run get your rattle and join the
throng at the rally tonight. There
will be lots of fun there and the
game will be another step to the
Rose Bowl, we hope . . .
Heard about the swell campus
at night at Beaumonts on Sundays
from 5 to 8? Soft lights, check
ered tablecloths, and fine food.
We'll see you there. Adv.
