The Biffer has stressed pass of fense this week, and that, added to the fact that Gwinn Henry's eleven has a five pound per man weight advantage, may keep the ball in the air most of the time. Altho Lbe Kansans' 31-6 defeat at the hands of Temple in their op ener, and their 19-6 victory over a fair Washington University team are not too impressive, the fact that Henry's team has connected with 17 passes out of 31 attempts this season definitely is impres sive. In their opener against Temple, Ralph Miller, Jay hawk quarter back and ace aerial artist heaved 24 forwards and 13 of those tosses were completed for a total of 184 YOUR DRUG STORE For (lull date tonight Bay Hr Bs f WHITMAN'S CHOCOLATES OWL PHARMACY 148 No. 14th Si r 2-1068 For Your Dancing Pleasure! jo COX ORCHESTRA Tonight 15C each '9:00-12:00 P.M. Despite the top heavy score, Kansas, in addition to outyarding the Owls 16 to 13, rolled up 284 yards rushing and passing, against 274 for the eastern team. On a wet field against Wash ington U, Henry pulled Ray Niblo back to the passing position, with Niblo completing 3 for 3 attempts, and two of the Kansans three touchdowns. Whether or not Jones will un leash the "tumble T" that every body is talking about to cope with the "spinner wing" plays employed by the Kansans is a question, and will remain so until tomorrow afternoon. From the Major's practice ses sions this week no certain infor mation concerning Saturday's style of play can be gained. Speed and power plays combined with long passing workouts, and the ever present T at its best are all possi bilities. Add a Kansas advantage in both line and backfield in starting line ups to the jinx that is Twinn Henry, and what have yor Henry-coached teams have a icord of three wins, three ties, and only five defeats with Nebraska, and Hen ry's Missouri teams of 1926-7-8 ran over Oomhusker teams with three successive victories. For the expected 25,000 fans in Memorial stadism tomorrow, Ne braska will be a heavy favorite, and both Henry and Jones will be praying for a dry day.
