vocational lectures in KHcn Smith
tomorrow at 4 p. m.
Speaking on "How to Meet the
Public," she will also discuss posi
tions open to women in the trans
portation line. The series is spon
sored jointly by the AWS board
and the dean of women's office.
Miss Mfl'eek graduated from
the Sthool of Domestic Arts &
Sciences in Chicago, and has
taught elementary and high school
music in Kansas.

Miss McPeek has been manager of
a department store and of tea
rooms in Kansas and Oklahoma.

Cochran's lecture when he spoke
before the Association for Whole

Prof. Cochran emphasized the
meaning of foreign policies and im
portance to present situation dur
ing the past ten years in his
speech. 'Twenty-four nations have
been under domination of totali
tarianism," he declared. "But we
can't allow Britain to go down."
"There has been a remarkable
change in the British empire since
1931," he pointed out.
