known to man.
They began talking. If you know
psychology you'll understand them.

Biff Jones' Cornhuskers and
Gwinn Henry's Jayhawkers meet
for the forty-sixth time when the
Kansans come to memorial sta
dium tomorrow for their Armis
tice day battle.
This will be the first meeting
between the two teams with
Henry chaperoning the Kansas
lads to Lincoln. Highly respected
in Nebraska football circles, Mr.
Henry's shortage of material and
wins will not lead anyone to be
lieve that this will be a breather
after last Saturday's defeat at the
hands of the Mizzou Tiger.
Most ancient rival of the Scar
let and the Cream, the Jayhawk
ers first faced Nebraska In 1892.
Since then, the Cornhuskers hava
bagged 33 victories. Kansas has
nine to her credit; three games
have been ties. Not since 1916,
when a group of young gentle
men from Lawrence turned back
the Scarlet 7-3, have the Kansana
won a game from Nebraska. In
1937 they managed to eke out a
13-13 deadlock with the Cornhusk
ers. After a drab October show
ing last year, the Jones boys cut
loose to beat Kansas, 16-7.
